We are misfits.

Disruptive Therapy Collective was born from a blend of anger, irritation, collaboration, and a desire to work with competent people. We were tired of being a part of systems that consistently did not serve people’s needs, glorified burnout, and continued to fail some of our most vulnerable populations. We were tired of it and wanted something different.

What makes us different? We consistently seek to attend to the relationship with our clients to attune to their changing needs. We don’t just look at the individual but at the systems from which they are a part of and collaborate to weave a narrative of strength as well as collaborating with their communities for healing. We have fun, even in the darkness that is revealed in therapy. We’re irreverent and respectful and don’t try to pretend we have all the answers. We hold connection, empathy, and respect in such a way that the healing unfolds naturally from the relationship.
